In many places in the country, Greyhound is the only bus company connecting small towns to larger cities. To many people, the iconic buses are the only way to travel that last mile after a long journey by bus, train or plane.

ⓘ Busbud Tip: though the buses do have WiFi, travelers report that they don't always work. That's expected, as the internet signal comes from phone line towers. When buses travel through remote locations where sometimes the phone signal is low or inexistent, then so is the WiFi service. Also, remember that Greyhound offers limited data per passenger (100MB), which may not last the whole journey on longer trips.

Greyhound User Reviews
Greyhound receives praise for its professional and friendly drivers, smooth rides, and efficient service. However, some users have noted concerns about bus cleanliness, uncomfortable seating, non-functional Wi-Fi or air conditioning issues. Additionally, there are mentions of communication gaps regarding delays and unexpected stops during the journey.
At the stop station in ALBANY there is no bathroom in good condition, there is no place to have something to eat comfortably like a sandwich or a good Cafe and the place is look like abandoned. We have to go outside to find something correct. The driver is a real gentleman and we arrive earlier as what the information says to us.

The layovers were very long I didn't enjoy that. The bus didn't have air from Alexandria to New Orleans and from New Orleans to Atlanta. It was a very uncomfortable ride

Horrible worst experience ever bus had no coolant and driver kept pulling over and then eventually broke down we were stranded for 3 hours and had to wait for another greyhound to pick us up was travelling to Vegas to go see a concert and missed half of the show because of the delay!
Jesse T.
I didn't enjoy that the bus driver literally forgot about our stop in Modesto, drove past it, and we had to speak up to remind him. That could have been a lot more than a 15-minute delay on our trip.
Mahyar M.
The driver could have been helpful with the luggage. I had to help a young (about 15) girl get her suitcase as it was pushed back far enough so it would have been a problem for her to get.
